Celebrating Police Week 2018

This year, from May 13th to May 19th, thousands of police officers, law enforcement professionals, friends, family, and survivors, gather in Washington D.C for National Police Week. In 2017 alone, 129 officers were killed in the line of duty. Distracted Driving Month Awareness

In honor of #DistractedDrivingMonth, the Rialto Police Department conducted a three and a half hour long operation at Riverside Avenue off ramp to ticket drivers who were ditracted by their electronic devices. 108 citations were given. "But we're not looking to write a lot of citations. For us, a successful operation would be if we handed out zero," said Sgt. Cameron Nelson. To read the full story, click here.
